Kamath Residency, an adventure resort located off the Mumbai-Pune Expressway at Nagothane near Mumbai is starting a new adventure travel arm, due to increasing number of clients interested in adventurous activities. The property is going to unveil the adventure division named 'Born2win Adventures' along with its website  mid-June this year. The property is going to promote the adventure arm through its website for which it is working closely with online travel agents and offline trade players.

Talking about the new adventure travel arm, Gopal Kamath, Director, Kamath Residency said, “Most guests at Kamath Residency were interested in adventure activities. We receive about 150-200 clients every month opting for our adventure activities. After receiving an immense response for the adventure services, we planned to start a new division which will only handle the adventure side of the property.” He further added, “We are first aiming to increase the market awareness of the product through Online Travel Agents (OTAs) and then work closely with off-line travel trade players. Our main goal is to increase the occupancy level of our property from current 60-65 per cent to 90 per cent.”

As reported earlier by TravelBiz Monitor on April 23, 2009, the property is increasing its inventory from 22 rooms to additional 34 rooms to cater to the rising demand and increasing occupancy levels. Along with increasing the inventory, the property has also tied up with an adventure company for outsourcing various adventure activities. Earlier, the property offered various adventure activity options like Rock Climbing, Rappelling, night camping, team building, stress management programmes, etc.
